here is a troglodyte village. It must have been a hard work to build a pueblo on a cliff. These Anasazi Indians disappeared before the Conquistadores arrived and had a chance to wipe them out. It is another advanced civilization that keeps the researchers busy.

 

 

these ancient pieces of art are numerous in the neighboring states too. This one is big, compare with the house (below).

 

 

surviving in this arid environment must require some skills. Though researchers suspect the area must have been more humid some centuries ago.
