I visited once or twice such shops and lost interested very quickly. Touristy curios shops are rarely interesting anywhere. No better here.
I remember some strong wind here, a panel was being rocked against something, the restaurant doors were squealing, old wooden crumbling barracks, this wreck was left in a oblivious place for everybody to admire. The owner definitely wanted to keep the property in an orderly so-called wild and old place. Bagdad Café or so.

just in case you manage to get lost, there are reminders all over. Having said that, these huge letters are useful for lost pilots. Flying low and slow allows to read the town name. I’ve once wished that Belgian villages would have the same feature. Because a regular road sign is bloody hard to read from an aircraft….
