lake Natron is the main breeding place for flamingoes. A place to be protected. Luckily a project for a salt processing factory on the lake was dumped, a subsidiary of Tata apparently. It looks like major donors heard about the project through a petition an other complaints and threatened to withdraw the cash. The government dropped the authorization.
