this is pretty unusual, roller blades…few roads are decent enough to use them in Arusha, and the road sides are even worse. Looks like these 2 were busy training.

 

a typical scenery: a heavily laden bicycle. 11 boxes of condoms. Things change slowly, finally.  Truckers have been known to sell the condoms they were given for free. Health workers have seen condoms drying on clothes lines for reuse or resale, condoms have been accused of carrying aids (a so-called plot from the whites to get rid of the blacks, though such a program has existed in the Apartheid South Africa but not with condoms…), individual condoms have been packed together with staplers…
