lake Eyasi, a coupla hours west of Arusha, worth going for a weekend. Kisima Ngeda is the only place to stay if you need a piece of good advice.
Infrared film used was the defunct Kodak Aerochrome. Another R.I.P. film... Kodak has been quite good at spitting in its soup...
