a lion taking a stroll towards a buffalo herd. Obviously the buffs are wary and cautious.
no luck for that roan antelope. Une hippotrague rouanne en français, une antilope quoi…funny how names are absolutely not just translated between languages. In German, this antelope named back to English is a horse antelope I think: Pferdeantilope…I have got zillion examples like that, especially amongst birds. Bloody scientists.

But for walking safaris, they’re imposed on the clients… Luckily we had real armed pros like Squack Evans or Huw Jones, pictured here, second left. The guy on the right was a trainee guide.
blow some more recent stuff while on private safaris, digital Nikons.
vervet monkeys.
a rare aerobatic cormorant! Birds are normally not performing aerobatics…
a grey heron. Ou encore un héron cendré.
a klipspringer, a funny rock antelope with kind of goat hooves. Une oréotrague.
