November-December, the short rain season in Tanzania. Not sure what the various farmers and herders have to say about this one in comparison to the previous bad years…but seen from the air it doesn’t look bad. Green fat grass is mostly spread all around, water holes are filled up as rivers and often gullies. We, Flying Medical Service pilots, experience problems on some airstrips with mud and fast growing plants…
any small plane can be used for that job. trick is to be able to open the window for best quality pictures. Bank the plane a bit and that's it. Or ask the pilot...
