Karine and I went out for a little photographic exercise. Since I’m Belgian, rugby is not a sport I could have grown into… I admit I was quite surprised by the amount of energy these players produce. It was quite interesting to shoot. I’m used with my 400mm for wildlife, which is rarely so active! Except the odd cheetah or lion chase…
Notice here how the helmeted guy holds the ball and another player’s neck at the same time! I’ve got the full sequence, about 8 pictures, and the guy never let them go till they all fell down.

I'll post some more soon. It was my first rugby photoshoot and I found it quite gratifying. I'll try to attend more often.
