all these shots were done on good old films.
I like these to pictures because the flamingoes had obviously been resting for a while before I zoomed in: the lake bottom was uniform and reddish, then the birds started to run for take off and disrupted the layer, appearing white or grey.
these were youngsters, just walking so far. Flying a normal aircraft and shooting at the same time is not an ideal combination for flamingo pictures. A paraglider would be much better, slower and more stable. But I won’t complain, I still feel lucky and privileged.
